Welcome, Eager Readers! ~R.J. Huneke
![]() At age nineteen, R.J. Huneke traveled across the country from New York to California in a dilapidated van with no brakes or heat . . . in the winter. And it was there that he began to write his first novel.
Cyberwar is a thriller novel from author R.J. Huneke and was released worldwide on May 5, 2015. It is now available in hardcover (first printing sold out), softcover, and eBook (Kindle, Nook, iBooks) wherever books are sold. If you like a modern twist on Ian Fleming's James Bond series, Cyberwar blends spy-thriller and sci-fi in a dark gritty fashion. Read all about it and see excerpts on the CyberwarSeries.com site here. Aside from novels, R.J. is the founder and managing editor of The Forgotten Fiction Magazine, a new type of book review site that focuses exclusively on works out 60 days or more and also on fine press and small press publications. And yes, R.J. does write for TFF as well. He continues to work in fiction, non-fiction, woodworking, poetry, film, comic books, photography, and other art. A former columnist for Newsday, he continues to write regular columns about technology, robotics, books, and popular culture. His publications to date, both online and in print, include work for Gadizmo, Examiner, SciFiNow, The Apple Gazette, and many more. For Cyberwar, R.J.'s extensive knowledge on cyber warfare, biohacking, and political protest, as well as his strong female protagonists are what set the riveting story apart.
R.J. spent years researching for his latest cyber / noir / science-fiction / thriller Cyberwar. A longtime writer and columnist, Huneke has interviewed cyber security professionals, carefully examined advances in science, including robotics and artificial intelligence, and compiled modern day speculations on technology and spun them into an electrifying journey into a dystopian society dominated by cybernetic hackers. His upcoming creative projects involve a graphic novel title SPY WOMAN SPY (serving as a prequel to the book CYBERWAR), film, a new children's book, the next science fiction novel in the Cyberwar Series, and a new mystery project ... it is possibly composed of psychological thriller /or paranormal suspense /or noir /or horror genres, but because it is not finished, who really knows: the characters will tell where the tale ends up. |
